CAITLIN HARVEY
A big warm hello to my fellow Grievers and Groovers.

I'm Caitlin, I'm 24 and I'm from the North East of England. In August 2016, I lost my mam to secondary breast cancer.

In the very first Parent Loss Group at uni, I felt so relieved to have finally found a safe space where I could mention my bereavement as being part of me, just as much as my name and age was. My loss doesn't define me but it changed my whole life and will always be a huge part of the person I am. I see Grieve and Groove as an extension of that group, to anyone at all who might benefit from it.
One thing is clear: there really is power in numbers; other people don't make the pain go away but they can absolutely help to ease it. G&G is helping me to feel less alone, and I truly hope it can do the same for you.

Whether you're grieving or grooving today, know that we are with you all the way.

Loads and loads of love,

Caitlin x
